George Nelson Thin Edge Credenza

2,800.00

Exquisite midcentury modern thin edge credenza from the 1950s or 60s constructed of solid wood. Credenza sits on sturdy black steel legs and features three large drawers on left with spherical pulls and accordion doors on right which open to reveal a vast amount of shelving including a thin utility drawer. Ideal for use as a media console or its intended purpose as a buffet in the dining room, we have reason to believe this is a George Nelson piece even though the Herman Miller stamp is not present and there are a few varying details to the original Nelson design. Typically there are four drawers instead of three and the right pulls on accordion doors are generally higher. The bottom lip is also a unique feature as typically the drawers and doors are flush to the bottom of the piece. The credenza has great clean look and would work beautifully in any interior from danish to contemporary. Measures 76”w x 18.5”d x 32”h.
